4. Ritual

Not far from Jesse, farther below the city on an abandoned, long-forgotten platform of a defunct line of the subway, a group has gathered, a group of the possessed. Their purpose is not to kill, however. Theirs is to release HIM. He has finally been found: The Archangel, the Fallen One, imprisoned in a human form and trapped in a sarcophagus by agents of the archdiocese hundreds of years ago. Although he cannot break the holy seal from inside – certainly not in this human form - he has not been powerless. Slowly, slowly, he has focused his mind, reaching out, influencing the environment, the atmosphere around the city, sending signals to his followers as to his location.

And now he has been found. The Fallen One.

Freed.
